What was the highlight of Orakai Daehakro Hotel

A comfortable stay with beautiful views and the best location.

The location was perfect, with 3 convenience stores close by, as well as restaurants. It was within walking distance of two palaces (with tranquil gardens) and Naksan Park. The bus stops were also close by, in all directions. As well as the airport bus stop. The gym was big and well equip. We stayed here for 3 weeks, comfortably. The best part was the city and tower view.

It would have been amazing if the Sauna was in operation.

Great accommodating staff and new facilities. Easy location for palaces and tourist areas

The hotel staff are so helpful and accommodating. They were able to organize early check in when I transferred rooms after my group departed and were able to help me when my return flight was delayed to the next day. Elevators in the hotel were really fast and we never waited too long for them. Gym is great for a work out! Sauna is out of commission but would have nice to use.

Location is great if you want to explore the surrounding palaces, Insadong, Myeongdong, and Jongno area. This location is more convenient using buses than the subway.

Will book again for next business trip.

The room is pretty large for a single traveler and clean. You can find CU and bus stop nearby. Easy to go to Gwangjang market by foot and feel safe to walk around at night.

Wish to have more Korean style breakfast choice. Can not find water in the fridge, but other member stay in another room find it.

Very Good

Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, always ready to help. Good to have sauna with hot bath on site. Hotel is located next to one of the nicest palaces in Seoul.

Would be good to have GF food options. Room service only works will ~4PM, so no dinner available on site. A bit far from subway stations, so either walk or catch bus.

Wonderful

Was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was nice. We liked it.

The AC was a bit loud and was only able to cool down the room to 25 degrees. It was western style, there was no step / area to take off shoes. Not a big issue but not my preference. There was no water dispenser, or anything else to get free water in the lobby. (But room service leaves 2 small Bottles of water when cleaning). The mirror above the sink could've had better lighting (for shaving / makeup).

Wonderful

-Overall it was a great stay 9/10. -The hotel was close by some of the most visited attractions and areas - within 30 mins walking distance to many as well. -Overall cleanliness of the facility and rooms were good

-It would be great to have a coffee machine in the room. There was an illy corner in the lobby but operating hours were not practical. -Wet area (Sauna) was not operating during our stay. -We didn’t have breakfast so my review excludes the breakfast service.

Good VFM if you are on a budget

In general, price was very fair for the value. Nice stuff (if you go there and require tourist advices, look for Ms. Dami Kim, she is absolutely an excellent customer relations officer). Room was decent and functional, meeting the requirements of these who view a hotel as a place to sleep rather than for leisure.

Location is not the best to say the least. The nearest two metro stations are ~700m far. Noise may carried out from a room sharing the same wall, not uncommon in hotels yet a bit louder

Location is quite strategic. 5-10 minutes to subway stations and bus stops are easily walking distance. Close to DDP and Gwanjang Market.
